Callum Voisin Aims for Victory at Iconic Silverstone in F3 Championship
Callum Voisin, a rising star in Formula 3, shares his excitement and goals for the upcoming race at the historic Silverstone circuit.

Callum Voisin, the talented Formula 3 driver from Bath, is gearing up for a pivotal race at the legendary Silverstone circuit this weekend. The 19-year-old, who has been living in Bath for the past eight years, considers Silverstone a 'special' venue, not just for its historic significance but also as his 'home grand prix.'
Voisin, who is in his second season with Rodin Motorsport, has a deep connection with Silverstone, having driven there extensively over the past few years. 'It's a circuit that everyone wants to win at,' Voisin told BBC Radio Somerset. 'It's very historic and for me, the grand prix that I get to call home. It's very special, high speed - I always enjoy driving there.'
Voisin's journey in motorsport began with karting at Clay Pigeon Raceway in Somerset. His career took a significant leap when he won the GB3 Championship in 2023, leading to his move to Formula 3 with Rodin Motorsport. The team boasts an impressive list of alumni, including current F1 drivers Lando Norris, George Russell, Carlos Sainz, and Liam Lawson.
Last year, Voisin clinched his maiden victory at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, finishing 12th overall in the standings. This season, he is currently in ninth place after the first six races. 'It all fell into place relatively late, I wasn't expecting to be doing F3,' Voisin admitted. 'The team went under some new management, which ended up being the right time for me and the team. My first year in F3 was a learning year, and we ended up getting some good results by the end of it. Now, we're going for another year to have a proper go at it.'
Looking ahead, Voisin is set to explore new horizons in Formula E, participating in a test event for the Cupra Kiro team later this month. This will mark his first experience driving an electric car. However, his ultimate goal remains clear: 'My goal is still to reach F1 and be a world champion one day,' Voisin emphasized. 'I'm aware that Formula 1 is difficult to get into, as are all the other forms of motorsport. As long as I do the best job possible, who knows where I can end up.'
As the British Grand Prix weekend approaches, all eyes will be on Voisin as he aims to make his mark at Silverstone, a circuit that holds a special place in his heart.
