At just 19 years old, Alex Dunne has taken a monumental step in his racing career by joining Rodin Motorsport for the 2025 Formula 2 season. In December 2024, Dunne participated in the post-season Formula 2 test for Rodin Motorsport in Abu Dhabi. He showcased his potential by posting the third-fastest lap on the final day at the Yas Marina Circuit. This performance undoubtedly solidified his position within the team.

Beyond Formula 2
In addition to his Formula 2 commitments, Dunne will serve as a reserve driver for McLaren's Formula E team. He is also scheduled to participate in the rookie practice session in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on February 13, further diversifying his racing experience.
