The BBC's quest to discover a new football expert kicks off with the launch of Last Pundit Standing, a groundbreaking competition featuring 12 talented content creators. The show, co-hosted by former Watford captain Troy Deeney and renowned YouTuber and football presenter James Allcott, promises to be a must-watch for football enthusiasts.

What to Expect

The first two episodes of Last Pundit Standing will be available on iPlayer, BBC Sport's YouTube channel, and TikTok starting at 06:00 BST on Monday. New episodes will air weekly until August 11, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

The competition boasts an impressive roster of special guests, including former footballers Alex Scott, Robbie Savage, Chris Sutton, and Martin Keown.
