Corrie Ndaba Set for Lecce Medical: A New Chapter in Serie A
Corrie Ndaba is nearing a move to Lecce, with a medical scheduled. The Irish defender leaves Kilmarnock for Serie A.

Corrie Ndaba, the Kilmarnock centre-half, is on the verge of finalizing his transfer to Lecce, a Serie A club. Lecce announced the news, sharing a photograph of Ndaba with a club scarf on their X account. The 25-year-old Irishman arrived at the Italian club on Saturday afternoon for a medical, which is set to be completed on Monday.
Ndaba's absence from Kilmarnock's matchday squad was notable as Stuart Kettlewell's side secured a 4-0 victory over East Fife, ensuring top spot in their Premier Sports Cup group and progression to the last 16.
Career Overview Ndaba signed a three-year contract with Kilmarnock last summer after leaving Ipswich Town, where he had a season on loan at the Scottish Premiership club. Last season, he made 39 appearances, all but two of them starts, as Kilmarnock finished ninth in the Scottish top flight.
New Beginnings in Serie A Now, Ndaba appears likely to complete his move to Lecce, a club that has recently brought Eusebio Di Francesco back for a second spell as head coach. Lecce finished 17th in the Italian top flight last season, just one place above the relegation spots.
Youth and Loan Spells Ndaba, who played for the Republic of Ireland at the Under-18 level, failed to break into Ipswich's first team after coming through the Championship club's youth ranks. He had loan spells with Hemel Hempstead Town, Chelmsford City, Ayr United, Salford City, Burton Albion, and Fleetwood Town before joining Kilmarnock.
