Marti Cifuentes Not Considered for West Brom Head Coach Role
QPR boss Marti Cifuentes not on West Brom's shortlist. Updates on the coaching search.
Marti Cifuentes was appointed as QPR boss in October 2023 and led them to Championship safety. However, he is not on West Bromwich Albion's shortlist for their head coach vacancy. West Brom are continuing with their recruitment process after sacking Tony Mowbray last week. James Morrison remains as interim head coach for their last game of the season.
QPR chief executive Christian Nourry said it's a disappointing situation and the club is working to resolve it quickly.
The Londoners are 15th in the table and their assistant coaches will be in charge for the final game at Sunderland on Saturday.
