Damon Heta, 37 years old and the Australian number one, emerged victorious with an 8-6 win over Nathan Aspinall in the final of the 13th Players Championship event of 2025. Heta took an early 4-1 lead but Aspinall rallied, making it a close contest at 6-6. Heta then managed a scrappy 20-dart leg and clinched the win with a clinical finish, averaging 94.91 compared to Aspinall's 88.45. This win propelled Heta to seventh on the PDC order of merit.
