CAS to Hear Appeals of Club Leon's Club World Cup Ban
The CAS will handle Club Leon's appeal over its Club World Cup ban.


The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is set to hear the appeals of Mexican side Club Leon and Pachuca next month. FIFA removed Club Leon from the Club World Cup this summer due to non-compliance with rules. Both clubs are owned by Grupo Pachuca. Club Leon has filed additional appeals. The Club World Cup starts on 14 June and the final is on 13 July in New Jersey.
