The 6-4 favorite, trained by Willie Mullins, left his competitors in the dust, winning by an impressive nine lengths. "Fact To File was in top form today. The distance suited him perfectly, and he had plenty left in the tank," Walsh commented.

In the Jack Richards Novices' Chase, Caldwell Potter, ridden by Harry Cobden, secured a poignant win. The horse, owned by a syndicate including Sir Alex Ferguson, honored the memory of John Hales, who passed away earlier this year. This victory marked the 50th Cheltenham Festival win for trainer Paul Nicholls.
