The boccia community is in mourning following the sudden death of Will Arnott, a prominent Paralympic athlete, at the young age of 25. Arnott, who made his Paralympic debut in Paris in the summer of 2024, was ranked seventh in the world by the end of the season.
Arnott's journey in boccia was marked by significant achievements and an inspiring presence both on and off the court. His major international debut came at the 2022 World Championships in Rio, where he advanced to the quarter-finals in the BC3 pairs event.
Coach's Tribute: "Will was not just a talented player but a person who brought positivity wherever he went," said Glynn Tromans, Arnott's coach. "From the moment we started working together in 2018, it was clear he was destined for greatness. He was a tenacious competitor and a wonderful human being. His loss is deeply felt across the world."
