Historic NSL Grand Final Set for London's Iconic O2 Arena

The 2025 Netball Super League Grand Final is scheduled to take place at London’s prestigious O2 Arena on 6 July 2025, marking a significant milestone in the league's history. This exciting event will showcase the culmination of an intense season, emphasizing the league's commitment to elevating the profile of netball in the UK.

The season will kick off on 8 March 2025, coinciding with International Women's Day, with the Netball Super Cup at Sheffield's Utilita Arena. This one-day, standalone event will feature all eight teams, setting the stage for a fantastic season ahead.

NSL Managing Director Claire Nelson expressed her enthusiasm about the upcoming season: "This coming season, our league will be even bigger and better than ever before with lots of exciting new things for our existing and new fans to experience. Bringing our first season in the new era to a climax in a venue as iconic as the O2 will be a major moment for us all, making a real statement for our ambitions and the barriers we will continue to challenge."

The season will consist of regular rounds leading up to the semi-finals, including a new preliminary final, which will provide an additional chance for teams to compete for the Grand Final. After the revamp, the league is set to feature eight teams, down from ten, with newcomers Birmingham Panthers and Nottingham Forest Netball joining the competition, while established teams such as Team Bath and Severn Stars have exited.

With Loughborough Lightning aiming to secure a third consecutive title, anticipation is building among fans for what promises to be a fiercely competitive season. The NSL is shaping up to be a thrilling spectacle, setting the scene for one of the most exciting events in the netball calendar— the Grand Final.
