MK Dons Bolster Defense with Signing of Experienced Defender Marvin Ekpiteta
MK Dons have strengthened their defense by signing Marvin Ekpiteta from Hibernian, adding experience and quality to their squad.

Milton Keynes Dons have completed the signing of defender Marvin Ekpiteta from Hibernian for an undisclosed fee. The 29-year-old, who has previously played for Leyton Orient and Blackpool, brings a wealth of experience to the League Two side.
Ekpiteta, who made over 100 appearances for Blackpool between 2020 and 2024, expressed his excitement about the move:
"I've played at higher and lower levels, and I know what it takes to push on and up, to get us out of this league. I feel like I bring a lot of experience and some good qualities to the team."
MK Dons manager Paul Warne highlighted the defender's attributes and his long-standing interest in the player:
"He's a big centre-half with pace, he's aggressive in both boxes, and I just think he's something the squad needs. I tried to sign him before when he was at Leyton Orient, but he went to Blackpool, and I've tracked him ever since."
Ekpiteta's arrival comes at a crucial time for MK Dons, who are aiming for promotion from League Two. The defender is expected to make his debut soon, with the team set to face Barrow in their next match.
This signing marks a significant step in MK Dons' preparations for the season, as they look to build on their opening draw against Oldham. Fans will be eager to see how Ekpiteta's experience and skills contribute to the team's campaign.
