Angus Gunn Joins Nottingham Forest: A New Chapter for the Scottish Keeper
Scottish goalkeeper Angus Gunn signs with Nottingham Forest, bringing experience and competition to the team's goalkeeping squad.

Nottingham Forest has officially announced the signing of Scottish goalkeeper Angus Gunn on a one-year deal. The 29-year-old shot-stopper, who previously played for Norwich City and Southampton, brings a wealth of experience to the Championship side.
Gunn began his career at Norwich City before moving to Manchester City in 2013, where he signed his first professional contract. After a stint at Southampton, he returned to Norwich in 2021, making a total of 172 appearances for the Canaries across two spells. Last season, Gunn featured in 35 Championship games for Norwich, showcasing his reliability and skill between the posts.
In a statement, Gunn expressed his excitement about joining Nottingham Forest: "This is a historic club on an exciting journey, and I'm looking forward to being a part of it and getting to work. I'm joining a good group of keepers, and I believe my experience will add something to the team. I can't wait to get going."
Gunn has also been a key player for the Scotland national team, earning 16 caps and starting all three of their group games at Euro 2024. His addition to Nottingham Forest will provide strong competition for Matz Sels, who was ever-present in the league last season, keeping 13 clean sheets and sharing the Golden Glove award with Arsenal's David Raya.
This transfer marks a new chapter for Gunn as he looks to make an impact at Nottingham Forest, a club with a rich history and ambitious goals for the future.
