Former Premier League referee David Coote has been formally charged by the Football Association (FA) following a leaked video in which he made derogatory remarks about ex-Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. The incident, which surfaced on social media in November 2024, led to Coote's suspension and subsequent dismissal by the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) after a comprehensive investigation.
