Dan Murphy named head of rugby at Gloucester-Hartpury for 2025-26 season.

Three-time Premiership Women's Rugby champions Gloucester-Hartpury have appointed Dan Murphy as their head of rugby for the 2025-26 season. Murphy has been a scrum coach at the club for the past four seasons. He steps up after Sean Lynn's departure for the Wales head coach role. Former prop Murphy made 91 appearances for Gloucester during his playing career and also represented other teams before retiring in 2022. Murphy expressed his honor and privilege to lead the team. Gloucester-Hartpury have been dominant in English women's rugby during Lynn's tenure. Murphy's coaching achievements include leading Hartpury University's men's team to a title. He was seconded to Wales women during the recent Six Nations campaign.
