Premier League Fixture Adjustment for Chelsea-Man Utd Game to Accommodate Women's FA Cup Final
The Chelsea-Man Utd Premier League game has been rescheduled to avoid a clash with the Women's FA Cup final.

The final Premier League home game of Chelsea against Manchester United this season has witnessed a date shift. The game was originally planned for 18 May but has now been moved to Friday, 16 May, with a 20:00 BST kick-off. It will be broadcast on Sky Sports. The entire round of matches was initially scheduled for 18 May, but the Premier League had earlier committed to not holding any games on the men's FA Cup final day on 17 May. However, the women's equivalent between Chelsea and United on 18 May posed an issue. Both clubs wanted fans to enjoy both events and requested a date change, which the Premier League approved. The only other game in that round not on Sunday is Brighton's home game with Liverpool, which will now be on Monday, 19 May (20:00 BST). The fact that the Premier League agreed to the request highlights the significance of the Women's FA Cup final. Moreover, the match couldn't be moved after that weekend as United might be in the Europa League final in Bilbao on Wednesday, 21 May.
