Emma Raducanu Emma Raducanu is currently in discussions with Mark Petchey regarding appointing him as her new coach. Although a final agreement hasn't been reached, sources suggest the Briton desires Andy Murray's former coach to lead her team. Petchey, a former top-100 player, was present in the coaching box at the Miami Open in March, where Raducanu reached the quarter-finals. Raducanu expressed having trustworthy people around during that week. The biggest hurdle for a long-term partnership seems to be Petchey's commentary role. Raducanu has been without a full-time coach since January and has had various coaching experiences in the past. She withdrew from the Great Britain team for the Billie Jean King Cup and is undecided about the Madrid Open but expected to play in Rome and the French Open.
