Former England all-rounder Ravi Bopara has been named the head coach of Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). This marks his first major T20 league head coaching role, following years of experience as a player and assistant coach with the franchise.

At 39, Bopara brings a wealth of international and franchise cricket experience. He represented England in 13 Tests, 120 ODIs, and 38 T20Is between 2007 and 2015. Post-retirement, he became a globetrotting T20 specialist, including a stint as Karachi Kings captain in 2016. His recent role as assistant coach for the franchise showcased his tactical acumen, paving the way for this promotion.
