"The pressure of expectation is just outside noise," Vaughan told BBC Sport. "My dad has been a massive influence but he takes a step back and lets me enjoy my cricket. I didn't choose my surname, but it's something I've learned to embrace."

Vaughan isn't alone in carrying a famous cricket name. His childhood friend Rocky Flintoff, son of England legend Andrew Flintoff, is making his own mark at Lancashire at just 16.
