Harry Beddall to Join Dragons from Leicester Tigers: A Rising Star in Rugby Union
Wales U20s captain Harry Beddall is set to join Dragons from Leicester Tigers for the 2025-26 season, promising a bright future in rugby union.

Wales Under-20s captain Harry Beddall is making a significant move in his rugby career, joining the Dragons from Leicester Tigers for the 2025-26 season. The Cardiff-born open-side flanker has signed a long-term deal with the Gwent region, marking a return to his roots in Wales.
Dragons head coach Filo Tiatia expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating, "We are thrilled that Harry is joining us. He had an outstanding Six Nations campaign and is a player with a bright future. His work-rate, collision work, and strong mentality are exceptional, especially for someone so young."
Beddall's performance has been nothing short of impressive. In February, he made 34 tackles at Rodney Parade, helping Wales' U20s secure a victory over Ireland in the Junior Six Nations. He was also pivotal in Wales' stunning win over England U20s at Cardiff Arms Park, denying England the Six Nations title and a Grand Slam.
Reflecting on his move, Beddall shared his enthusiasm, "I'm excited to be returning to Wales and joining Dragons. I want to thank Filo for this opportunity. Being back with Hobbsy and OB, who I worked with in Welsh age groups, will be great. I'm looking forward to pre-season training with the boys."
Before joining Dragons, Beddall and his Wales U20s teammates are set to compete in the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in Italy from June 29 to July 19. This tournament will be another platform for Beddall to showcase his talent and continue his rise in the rugby world.
