Alan Philpott Returns to Belfast for High-Stakes Co-Main Event at PFL Europe
Alan Philpott gears up for a thrilling co-main event at PFL Europe in Belfast, marking his first home fight in 11 years.

Alan Philpott is set to make a triumphant return to his hometown of Belfast as he steps into the co-main event at the PFL Europe Fight Night on May 10. This will be Philpott's first fight on home turf in over a decade, and he couldn't be more excited.
Philpott, aged 32, boasts a professional record of 21-16. His last bout was in February, where he secured a victory against Tomoya Hirakawa in Australia. Training alongside notable fighters like Norman Parke, Greg Loughran, and UFC's Rhys McKee in Ballymena, Philpott later moved to Liverpool to train with Dean Garnett. He has spent several years honing his skills in Australia.
"Walking out in Belfast on the MMA stage is a dream come true," Philpott shared. "It's been 11 years since I fought back home, so to get an opportunity to co-main at SSE Arena, that's a dream come true." Philpott is determined to deliver a career-defining performance in front of his hometown crowd.
Also featured on the same card is Paul Hughes, who recently faced a narrow defeat against lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov in Dubai. Both Philpott and Hughes' opponents for the Belfast event are yet to be announced.
The event promises to be a thrilling night for MMA fans, with high stakes and top-tier talent on display. Stay tuned for more updates as the fight card develops.
