Emma Raducanu faced tough conditions during her first-round match at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, where she was defeated by Japan's Moyuka Uchijima with scores of 6-3, 6-2. Despite the loss, Raducanu expressed no anxiety related to her recent experiences, including a stalking incident at the Dubai Tennis Championships last February.

The 22-year-old British tennis player noted that the windy conditions in the Californian desert played a significant role in the match. 'I didn't feel anxious about any of the scenarios that have happened recently,' Raducanu shared with BBC Sport.
