Harlequins Bolster Squad with Argentina Star Guido Petti for 2025-26 Season
Harlequins announce the signing of Argentina forward Guido Petti for the 2025-26 season, adding depth and experience to their squad.

Harlequins have made a significant addition to their squad for the 2025-26 season by securing the services of Argentina second-row Guido Petti. The 30-year-old lock, who currently plays for Bordeaux Begles, will join the London-based club after completing his current campaign in France.
Petti brings a wealth of experience to Harlequins, having earned 87 caps for the Argentina national team, Los Pumas. He has also participated in three Rugby World Cups, showcasing his prowess on the international stage. Since joining Bordeaux Begles from the Jaguares in 2020, Petti has made 64 appearances, solidifying his reputation as a reliable and formidable forward.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the move, Petti said, "I'm excited to join Harlequins next season – it's a club with a lot of history and a new challenge in the Gallagher Premiership." He added, "Harlequins is an ambitious club with a strong squad, which I can't wait to join. I've heard a lot about the fantastic support of the club and I'm looking forward to playing in front of the supporters at The Stoop."
Petti's versatility, allowing him to also play at flanker, will provide Harlequins with additional tactical options. His signing follows the recent announcement of Ireland international Kieran Treadwell's return from Ulster, highlighting Harlequins' commitment to building a competitive squad.
The news of Petti's arrival comes shortly after the announcement that hooker Nathan Jibulu will complete his move to Sale Sharks in the summer. This strategic acquisition underscores Harlequins' ambition to strengthen their roster and compete at the highest level in the Gallagher Premiership.
