Jayden Daniels to follow in Donovan McNabb's footsteps

Jayden Daniels, the Washington Commanders' rookie, will face his childhood favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles, in the NFC Championship Game.

Jayden Daniels will be following in the footsteps of his childhood favorite, Donovan McNabb, when he takes the field for the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. A photo posted by the NFL on Thursday shows Daniels rocking McNabb's No. 5 Philadelphia jersey as a child.

McNabb's influence on Daniels was clear, as the rookie mentioned in an interview that he chose No. 5 as his college jersey because of McNabb. McNabb started three NFC Championship Games in his home stadium during his Eagles tenure, winning one. Daniels will have a chance to do the same on Sunday as a member of the visiting team.
