Wrexham Unveils Vibrant 2025-26 Away Kit Inspired by the Daffodil
Wrexham reveals their new 2025-26 away kit, inspired by the daffodil, symbolizing Welsh pride and optimism, as they prepare for their Championship season.

With high-profile celebrity ownership, a squad speckled with ex-Premier League talent, and the momentum of three consecutive promotions behind them, Wrexham is well poised to make a significant impact in the Championship during the 2025-26 season. The Welsh club, documented by the hit FX/Disney+ series "Welcome To Wrexham," has powered its way up three divisions from the National League to the cusp of the Premier League in just four years since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over.
As the Red Dragons prepare to kick off their first season back in the English second tier since 1981-82, they have unveiled a set of new retro-style kits that are tinged with tasteful 1980s details. The recently released home jersey features a centralized club crest, reminiscent of the shirt worn by legends like Joey Jones, Dixie McNeil, and Gareth Davies over 40 years ago.
However, the spotlight was briefly stolen by Welsh rivals Swansea City, who enlisted Snoop Dogg to unveil their new jersey and take a playful jab at Wrexham. On Tuesday, fans got their first look at the new 2025-26 away kit as coach Phil Parkinson's team faced A-League side Sydney FC in the second match of their preseason tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The new away kit draws inspiration from the daffodil, a national symbol of pride and optimism for Wales. The bright yellow and green color palette, first adopted by Wrexham in the late 1980s, is complemented by a neat polo collar, fine pinstriping, and the words "Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau/Land of My Fathers" (the Welsh national anthem) in both Welsh and English inside the neckline.
Wrexham had won the first match of the tour against Melbourne Victory 3-0 but couldn't secure a double Down Under as they fell 2-1 to Sydney at Allianz Stadium. They will soon travel to New Zealand to take on Wellington Phoenix on Saturday.
