Will Levis: Embracing the Challenge with a Starter's Mentality in the 2025 NFL Season
Will Levis, the Tennessee Titans quarterback, is determined to prove his worth in the 2025 NFL season despite the competition from top draft pick Cameron Ward.

The Tennessee Titans' quarterback room is heating up as Will Levis faces a pivotal season in his NFL career. Drafted as a promising talent, Levis now finds himself in a fierce competition with Cameron Ward, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Despite the odds, Levis is approaching the offseason with the mindset of a starter, determined to refine his skills and secure his position on the team.
A Season of Learning and Growth
Last season was a challenging one for Levis. With a 2-10 record as a starter, he threw for 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. The Titans' overall performance was lackluster, culminating in a 3-14 record and the first overall pick in the draft. Levis, however, views these struggles as a learning experience.
"One thing I've learned the hard way is there's no way to play your best ball if there are other things you let affect your mental," Levis reflected. "The mindspace I was in those 20 weeks was not me."
Offseason Improvements
During the offseason, Levis sought the guidance of personal quarterback coach Jordan Palmer. Together, they focused on enhancing his pocket movement and footwork. Levis believes these improvements have significantly boosted his accuracy, ball placement, timing, and rhythm.
"I feel great, like I made a lot of progress," Levis said. "I wanted to come out here and do the right things every day."
Competing with Cameron Ward
Despite his efforts, Levis faces stiff competition from Cameron Ward, who has been receiving more reps during OTAs and mandatory minicamp. Offensive coordinator Nick Holz praised Levis for his attitude and professionalism in this challenging situation.
"Will's been great with how he's handled this kind of new situation," Holz said. "Attitude wise, he's a good dude and a good teammate. I give him a lot of credit for that because when you draft another quarterback with the No. 1 pick, it's not an easy situation."
Looking Ahead
As training camp approaches, Levis remains focused on his goal of being the best quarterback he can be, whether he secures the starting job or not.
"I don't plan on shifting my mindset at all, regardless of what the situation is," Levis said. "I'm just going to be ready to play quarterback whenever my name's called."
With his determination and continuous improvement, Will Levis is a player to watch in the 2025 NFL season.
