Aaron Rodgers Joins Pittsburgh Steelers and Reveals Recent Marriage at Minicamp

Aaron Rodgers confirms his marriage and new contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2025 NFL minicamp.

Aaron Rodgers, the four-time MVP quarterback, has made headlines once again. After agreeing to a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rodgers revealed another significant life event—he recently got married.

During the Steelers' minicamp on Tuesday, Rodgers addressed the media for the first time as a Steeler. He wore a ring on his finger, which sparked curiosity among reporters. When asked about the ring, Rodgers confirmed it was a wedding ring.

"It's a wedding ring," Rodgers told reporters. The 41-year-old quarterback mentioned that he has been married for a couple of months but has not publicly disclosed the identity of his wife. Speculation about his marriage began when the Steelers announced his signing with a photo showing an apparent wedding ring on his left hand.

Rodgers was seen practicing during the minicamp with a ring on the ring finger of his left hand—the opposite of his throwing hand. This observation further fueled the rumors of his recent marriage.

In addition to his personal news, Rodgers officially signed a $13.65 million deal with the Steelers after passing his physical at the team's facility on Saturday. The deal includes $10 million guaranteed and could be worth up to $19.5 million with incentives added.

Rodgers, who parted ways with the New York Jets in February, had an impressive season last year, throwing for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns. His move to the Steelers marks a new chapter in his illustrious career.

Stay tuned for more updates on Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 2025 NFL season approaches.
