Mitch Keller is also worth considering. Despite a tough outing against the Astros, Keller has been consistent, posting a 3.86 ERA and 1.18 WHIP over his last six starts. He’s in a favorable spot as the Pittsburgh Pirates host the Miami Marlins, who struggle against right-handed pitching.

Lance McCullers Jr. has been impressive in his last two starts, recording 19 strikeouts in 12 innings with just one walk. He’s set to face the Chicago White Sox, who have the league’s least productive offense against right-handed pitchers, making him a top waiver wire pickup.

Brandon Pfaadt should be avoided after his recent struggles. Over his last five outings, Pfaadt has an 11.09 ERA and 1.71 WHIP. Despite a potential rebound, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ matchup against the Seattle Mariners makes him a risky start.
