Andy Farrell Hints at Owen Farrell's Potential Inclusion in Lions Tour to Australia
British & Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell says spots are open and Owen Farrell could join the Australia tour.

British & Irish Lions coach Andy Farrell has stated that there are still “one or two” places available in his squad for the tour of Australia, and Owen Farrell might have a chance to be included.
Farrell named a 38-man squad on Thursday, with 20-year-old England back-row Henry Pollock being included. However, Owen Farrell, the son of Andy and a fly-half, was not picked.
In November 2023, Owen Farrell announced his break from international rugby for his and his family's mental well-being. The following January, he left Saracens to join Racing 92.
Though he hasn't played international rugby since the 2023 World Cup, Andy Farrell believes his son, who can play fly-half and centre, could still make the tour.
Finn Russell, Marcus Smith and Fin Smith have been chosen as fly-halves by Farrell.
