Irish jockey Michael O'Sullivan, aged 24, tragically passed away on Sunday, 10 days after suffering injuries in a fall at Thurles Racecourse in Ireland. O'Sullivan, who had ridden 90 winners in Ireland and five in Britain, was involved in a fall at the final fence in the second race on February 6. He was treated on the course and airlifted to a hospital but unfortunately passed away surrounded by his family. His family's decision to donate his organs shows their kindness. The racing community is in mourning for this exceptionally talented young rider.
