The Chiefs' Potential Reinforcements in the 2025 NFL Draft
The Kansas City Chiefs have opportunities to strengthen key positions in the upcoming NFL draft.

The Kansas City Chiefs, fresh off a third straight Super Bowl appearance, have four picks in the top 100 of the upcoming NFL draft. Despite addressing some needs in free agency, there are still areas where they could use reinforcements. For example, at running back, while Mitchell, Pacheco, and Hunt provide depth for now, none are signed beyond 2025. At offensive tackle, the newly signed Moore is not a sure bet as a long-term solution. In the defensive tackle position, losing Wharton and Nnadi leaves uncertainty. At cornerback, even after signing Fulton, more additions are needed. Safety is another area where preparations for potential losses should be made.
The running back class is deep in this draft, and it could be a good time to add a young player. The Chiefs have been searching for a reliable left tackle for years and can't rely solely on Moore. A deep draft for defensive linemen offers an opportunity to fill in around Chris Jones. The cornerback position has some depth in the middle of the draft class, making it a logical early draft choice.
