FC Cincinnati Midfielder Marco Angulo Passes Away
FC Cincinnati midfielder Marco Angulo has tragically passed away at the age of 22 due to injuries sustained in a car crash on October 7th in Ecuador.
Angulo was a passenger in the car that crashed into a metal barrier on the Rumiñahui highway southeast of Quito. He suffered a lung contusion and serious head injuries and had been in an artificial coma until he passed away on Monday evening.
The 22-year-old Angulo joined FC Cincinnati in December 2022 and was on loan to Ecuadorian side LDU Quito this season. He was a talented young midfielder who had a bright future ahead of him.
