Amad's heroics give Manchester United a much-needed win

Amad Diallo scored his first senior hat trick as Manchester United came from behind to beat Southampton 3-1 at Old Trafford. The Ivorian winger's late intervention prevented United from losing four straight top-flight home games for the first time since 1930. Ruben Amorim's side were second best for much of the game but Amad's goals made sure the Portuguese coach's postmatch chat with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe went far smoother than it might have done otherwise.
