Recap of the MLS Season

The 2022 MLS season came to an end with the LA Galaxy winning their sixth MLS Cup.

The Galaxy started the season slowly, but they found their form in the second half of the season and went on a winning streak to clinch the Supporters' Shield.

In the playoffs, the Galaxy defeated the Austin FC 3-1 in the Western Conference Semifinals and the Philadelphia Union 2-1 in the Western Conference Finals to reach the MLS Cup Final.

In the final, the Galaxy took an early lead through a goal from Chicharito in the 12th minute.

The Revolution equalized in the 52nd minute through a goal from Gustavo Bou, but the Galaxy scored the winning goal in the 86th minute through a penalty kick from Javier Hernández.
