The NBA trade deadline on Feb. 6 is drawing closer, and the Phoenix Suns and Charlotte Hornets have finalized the first deal of the New Year. On Wednesday, the Suns acquired center Nick Richards from Charlotte in exchange for forward Josh Okogie. The trade also saw Phoenix obtain one second-round pick and the Hornets adding three future second-rounders. In December, the Lakers acquired Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for D'Angelo Russell, Maxwell Lewis and three second-round picks. It was the second notable move for the rebuilding Nets this season after earlier sending Dennis Schroder to the Golden State Warriors.
