Premier League Giants Arsenal and Chelsea Eye Marcus Thuram and Samu Aghehowa in Transfer Battle
Arsenal and Chelsea are in a fierce competition to sign Inter Milan's Marcus Thuram and FC Porto's Samu Aghehowa, as the transfer window heats up.

Premier League Clubs in Transfer Frenzy
Arsenal and Chelsea have emerged as frontrunners in the race to secure the services of Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram. According to Football Insider, both clubs are ahead of Liverpool in the pursuit of the 27-year-old forward, who has a release clause of £71 million. Thuram, the son of French football legend Lilian Thuram, joined Inter Milan as a free agent in 2023 after a successful stint at Borussia Monchengladbach. Inter Milan is reportedly determined to retain him, with sources indicating they will do "all they can" to keep him at the San Siro.
Samu Aghehowa: The Rising Star
In addition to Thuram, Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur are showing keen interest in FC Porto striker Samu Aghehowa. The 20-year-old has been in stellar form this season, scoring 20 goals and providing three assists in 31 appearances across the Portuguese Primeira Liga and UEFA Europa League. Newcastle sees Aghehowa as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, should he depart St. James' Park in the upcoming transfer window. Chelsea, who had previously approached Aghehowa last summer, remains highly interested in the young forward.
